During the last few weeks we have been recording – for the very first time in many years of the Welsh Books scheme – on location.

Sulwyn Thomas has  been visiting the 13 authors who have contributed to a new Welsh book, published by Gwasg Gwynedd, “Taid/Tadcu” – a follow up to a very successful publication last year of recollections of “Grandmother”.

This time its about  the memories of grandfathers, and contributors include Dafydd Iwan and Gwyn Llewelyn and other well-known figures.

One of the first to be recorded was Mrs Margarette Hughes of Whitland. A copy of this CD is now available from our Pensarn office Tel:01267 238225.
