I am sure it is not too late to wish you a Happy New year, hoping you will continue supporting us during the coming months. I have no doubts that they will be busy and exciting.
A few weeks ago we launched our partnership with Urdd Gobaith Cymru (The Welsh League of Youth). We will, as a consequence, be preparing CD’s featuring the best from the movement’s annual eisteddfodau – stories, essays and of course poetry. There is a wealth of material available from future literary stars.
Another decision was to run an annual competition for readers of the Urdd magazines – a short story specifically aimed at children with sight related problems. Details will be published in the next edition of CIP.
We wish to thank the Urdd for promoting this competition and to Gwasg Gomer for providing prizes for the winning entries.

The generous grant from the Lottery Fund ended in December 2015, so we have a formidable challenge before us this year to bolster our finances. We are formulating plans that will provide a firm base for future years. More on that soon. I am sure we can count on your support when the time is ripe.
