During the last 12 months Talking Books Wales has been one of three voluntary organisations in the Carmarthen area to benefit from a special scheme run by the Co-op. A certain percentage of what members spent was transferred to three chosen charities. In the last year nearly £2,000 was raised. During an Open-day event [...] Mr Sulwyn Thomas was presented with a cheque for £500 from Aelwyd Yr Urdd, Cynwyl Elfed recently in aid of Talking Books Wales.
