(Cymraeg) BLOG Y CADEIRYDD MIS TACHWEDD 2015

Here we are back at base after another successful “Road Show” – our third.  As with all the others we were able to target the young and the old in four venues.  We began in Llangefni, recorded  children from two primary schools, discussed creative writing with local author, Marlyn Samuel  and visited representatives of other organisations, guided by local book-seller, Dylan Morgan.

On then to Ruthin, where we met probably our oldest “customer”, 100 year old , Betty Watson- what a character!

Eisteddfod winner, Mari Lisa shares her time these days between her homes in Llanwrin and Carmarthen . Pupils of Llanfair Caereinion Secondary school were given an insight into the creative process that won her a prestigious award in this year’s National Eisteddfod.

We ended our tour in Abergavenny and yet another constructive session at the Park street Community Centre.  We also visited Henry Viii School in the company of Lois Arnold, who writes books for  Welsh language learners. A very edifying experience.

Thanks to everyone  for their welcome, their comments and suggestions . We have learned a lot  and we will debate a number of ideas for the future.
